"autobiography in five chapters"
1) i walk down the street.
there is adeep hole in the sidewalk
i fall in.
i m lost. . . i m hopeless.
it isn't my fault.
it takes forever to find a way out.

2) i walk down the same street.
there is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
i pretend i don't see it.
i fall in again.
i can't beleive i 'm in the same place.
but it isn't my fault.
it still takes a long time to get out.

3) i walk down the same street.
there is a deep hole in the sidewalk
i see it there.
i still fall in. . . it's a habit.
my eyes are open
i know where i am
it is my fault.
i get out immediately.

4) i walk down the same street.
there is a deep hole in the sidewalk
i walk around it.

5) i walk down another street.

I think that this means that it is hard for people to learn from their own mistakes.

For some people it is even hard to acknowledge that it's their fault and not blame the street instead as it took her/him two times...and I liked the fact that it took less time to come out once she/he accepted her/his fault.

Do you think election would be a good subject for your students?

But i am sure they have thought about voting. some of them might have gone with their parents to cast their votes. They have seen and heard stuff. I won't be surprised if they have their own theory of how to vote.

Salam Tsul Trim doost man,

I like Pantea's idea, maybe you could teach your students how to vote. Maybe you could put up three candidate colors and have the students choose their favorite candidate by voting and placing their votes in a box. It might be fun for them to elect the King of Color! :)

I am looking forward to your new post. :)

when i wasnot REALLY working there ,i had a lot of ideas, but when i went there, for 2 days i was just laughing at my earlier theories.there, is a complete different area from that you are imagining. there are many good ideas, but very very few of them can be appropriate fr there, maybe after one year i can ask them to play this nice game

so, why don't you tell us more about it? about your students and your work environment? at the very least you are sharing your points of view and you are raising awareness about these children.
