In Tibetan,the term for discipline is TSUL TRIM.TSUL means "appropriate or just",and TRIM means "rule"or "way".so discipline is to do what is appropriate or just;that is,in an excessively complicated age,to simplify our lives. . .

So have you read the book yourself? what do you think about it?
I think that Buddha had a lot of good things to say! He seems to be providing lessons in critical thinking rather than the sort of rote dogma that is typical of most religions.
